The Newton Community Theatre is thrill to be celebrating their 40th Birthday. NCT has been organized since 1963 and produced four productions per year, along with children's summer workshops. This year's productions include "Kiss Me Kate", "Steel Magnolias", "The Cemetery Club", and "Miracle on 34th Street". The theatre is self-supporting through ticket sales, playbill advertising, rentals and contributions. NCT is governed by a twelve member board, each with a three year term rotating four members per year. "Alice in Wonderland" is our children's production that we offer to the school systems in Jasper County. Many children have benefited from this theatre production.
